“The Real Killer” Calls For “Somebody He Used To Know”

Currently residing in Bucharest, Romanian DJ Paul Damixie (member of Radio Killer – a.k.a. “The Real Killer”) has recently shown his latest creation – a remix for Belgian-Australian multi-instrumental musician and singer-songwriter “Gotye”. “Somebody That I Used To Know” is what we might consider only an extension of this young’s artist portfolio, as his previous releases and a weekly radio show made Paul quite famous (first on the west-side of Romania – Timisoara) all over the world. The new remix shows a different style, apart from all those club/house remixes we’ve been used to so far.

“Somebody That I Used to Know” is part of Gotye’s third studio album – Making Mirrors, and features New Zealand singer Kimbra. The song was written by Gotye himself, lyrically about the experiences he has had with relationships. The song was released on 6 July 2011 as the second and lead single off the album.
